Food and Product Inspection: "Norovirus Testing"

Support for rapid reduction of norovirus infection risk with one of the largest daily processing capacities in the country.

We would like to introduce our "Norovirus Testing." In 2017, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare revised the "Hygiene Management Manual for Large-Scale Cooking Facilities," stating that food handlers must strive to conduct norovirus testing at least once a month from October to March, or as needed. Norovirus is highly contagious, with infections reported from as few as 100 particles.
